Office of Student Disability Services:

Calhoun Community College provides environmental and programmatic access for persons with documented disabilities as defined in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and/or the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment of 2008.  Any student who desires information about or assistance with needed services for a disability such as classroom accommodations, physical access to facilities or programs, adaptive equipment, or other off- or on-campus resources should contact our office for additional information.

Students who are requesting academic adjustments and modifications for the first time at the College must submit a completed Request for Accommodations Form to the Office of Student Disability Services. Continuing students must complete Request for Accommodations Form and select “Request the same academic adjustments and modifications as previous term.” A student who has not been enrolled in classes for two consecutive terms or more must contact the office directly. Hard copies of the forms can be picked up in the office. Accommodations are not retroactive.
