Calhoun Campuses to close on July 3rd and 4th in Observance of July 4th Holiday
June 28, 2017
Decatur, AL -- Calhoun Community College President Dr. James Klauber announced today that in observance of the July 4th holiday, all Calhoun campuses will be closed Monday, July 3rd and Tuesday, July 4th. The decision to close follows Governor Kay Ivey’s announcement earlier this week that state offices will be closed both days for the holiday.
“We thank Governor Ivey for this additional day to spend with family and friends, and wish all of our Calhoun students, faculty, staff and our communities a safe and happy 4th,” Klauber said.
Calhoun classes will resume and offices will re-open at normal operating hours on Wednesday, July 5th.
