Calhoun Community College Kicks Off the Holiday Season With Annual Santa Celebration

November 28, 2017

Calhoun Community College will host its annual Santa Celebration on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event will be held at the Huntsville campus, 102 Wynn Dr. NW, Huntsville, AL, in the Grand Foyer of the main building. Students, staff, faculty and members of the community are encouraged to attend for an evening of free, family-friendly activities.

Children will have an opportunity to participate in holiday-themed arts and crafts sessions, a picture taken with Santa Claus, as well as receiving a Christmas gift. “This celebration has been going on for several years at the Huntsville campus, and each year it grows larger and larger,” commented Mark Branon, Huntsville campus director. “To offer something of this magnitude to the public for free, speaks volumes and is indeed true community service from our students and staff”. Holiday music and complimentary treats and goodies will be available throughout the evening.

Although this event is free, the College will be accepting donations on behalf of the Manna House.
