Calhoun to Host Second Open House for ITT Students at new Huntsville Campus Building
September 21, 2016
Due to the overwhelming interest in the first event, Calhoun Community College has planned a second Open House and Information Session for students displaced as a result of the recent closure of ITT Technical Institute. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4, 2016, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the new Math, Science, and Computer Science building at the college’s Huntsville campus.
As was the case with the first program, the come-and-go event will allow students to meet with representatives from various instructional areas, advisers, financial aid personnel and other student support services staff to introduce to them the various options that Calhoun has to offer.
“Since we had such a tremendous turn-out and demonstration of interest from ITT students at the first open house in Decatur, our team wanted to host another event in Huntsville to make it easier for students from that area to come out and talk with us,” commented Calhoun President Dr. James Klauber.
Students unable to attend the October 4th event or those wishing to start the process of applying to the college prior to the Open House may the “Apply Now” button at the top of the page to proceed. There is no fee to apply to the college.
