Welcome to the Calhoun Public Relations (PR) Office page! The purpose of our office is to provide creative marketing and advertising assets that support and reflect the College’s mission and values statement to the general public throughout our service area. In conjunction to that, our office also serves as the gatekeeper of the College’s brand and the hub in which all media inquiries should be filtered through. We are also committed to working closely with the College’s departments and divisions to help meet their marketing, communications, and advertising needs for the public. Please note: all graphic design work intended for public consumption, which represents the College, must either be created within the Public Relations Office or receive approval from the PR leadership team before any self-created design work is shared.

The mission of the Office of Public Relations at Calhoun Community College is to promote positive relations between the College and its many constituents; enhance internal and external communications; assist the college in achieving its goal of being a world-class institution; and coordinate the college’s media relations, communications and publications programs to provide the most efficient and effective marketing initiatives.  The Public Relations Office is responsible for the development, design, preparation, and coordination of college publications; coordination of college advertising, marketing & media relations, and trade shows; the implementation of the College’s Speakers’ Bureau; coordination of special events on campus and the design and maintenance of the Calhoun website. The Public Relations Office is located in the new Math/Science Center on the third floor, Suite 320.
