On behalf of our students, faculty, and staff, I welcome you to Calhoun Community College! As one of Alabama’s leading institutions of higher education, we are committed to student success. Accreditation

Calhoun Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Calhoun Community College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The largest of the two-year institutions comprising The Alabama Community College System, Calhoun Community College is an open-admission, community-based, state-supported, coeducational, comprehensive community college dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality and accessible education to individuals in its four-county service area.

For over 75 years, Calhoun has met the educational and training demands of a unique and highly diverse population. Offering more than 100 associate degree options and career and certificate programs, Calhoun serves approximately 10,000 students at its 110-acre Decatur campus; its Huntsville-Cummings Research Park site and the Alabama Center for the Arts.
