Scholarships & Grants

Donor-Funded Scholarships for Students

One of the Foundation’s primary initiatives is providing over 200 donor-funded scholarships annually. These scholarships come from various sources – some are one-time awards, while others are fully endowed by donors, with the principal generating interest to fund the scholarships year after year. Additionally, certain events, such as the Steve Smith Memorial Golf Tournament, are specifically organized to raise funds for scholarships.

The Foundation hosts an annual event where these scholarships are presented to the recipients. This ceremony is one of the most heartwarming events of the year, as donors or their family members often attend to personally present the scholarship and meet the student beneficiary. These interactions forge a special connection between the donors and the students whose lives are transformed by their generosity.
