About Reverse Transfer of Credits
Reverse transfer is the transfer of credits from a four-year institution to a two-year institution to facilitate the awarding of an Associate of Science Degree. Each student’s credits will be evaluated to see if the combined credits meet degree and graduation requirements.
Reverse Transfer Eligibility Requirements
- Have earned at least 25% of the credit hours required for their degree at Calhoun
- Have earned at least 3 semester credit hours from the four-year institution
- Must be in good standing and have a minimum overall GPA of 2.0 at Calhoun
Reverse Transfer Process
- Student must submit the Reverse Transfer Interest Form and a copy of their unofficial transcript from their transfer institution.
- Once the unofficial transcript is received, the credits from your four-year institution will be evaluated by the Reverse Transfer/Graduation Specialist and students will be notified via email whether or not they meet graduation requirements.
