Calhoun Community College is actively seeking dedicated professionals to join its faculty team and is thrilled to announce its first-ever career fair focused exclusively on adjunct teaching opportunities. The fair will be held on Thursday, November 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Math, Science, Computer Information Systems Multifunction Room on the Huntsville Campus and Tuesday, November 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Advanced Technology Center Exhibition Hall on the Decatur Campus.

“We are excited to welcome potential adjunct faculty who can bring their industry and educational expertise to Calhoun,” said Wes Rakestraw, Calhoun’s Vice President of Academics. “This event is an excellent way for us to meet talented professionals who want to make a lasting impact on our students and enrich our academic community,” he added.

The college is recruiting for adjunct positions across a wide range of academic disciplines, including business, health sciences, manufacturing, mathematics, and more. The Adjunct Career Fair offers a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with Calhoun’s deans and staff, learn about the rewarding impact of teaching, and discover how their expertise can support students’ educational journeys.

Whether you’re interested in stepping into the world of teaching, earning extra income, or pursuing a fulfilling role in higher education, this event is for you. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resume, transcripts, and credentials.
