Calhoun Community College to Host Instant Admission Days this SummerJune 20, 2019
Arrive, Apply, Accepted…all in one day.
Calhoun will host a series of Instant Admission Days on both campuses this summer for prospective students interested in enrolling for the fall semester.
Instant Admission Day is an annual event for prospective students who plan to attend or are considering attending Calhoun. While on campus, students and parents will have an opportunity to meet college advisors, apply for admission, complete the FAFSA online, schedule or take placement exams and register for fall classes.
“Anyone that applies to Calhoun who has graduated or obtained their GED will be instantly admitted on Instant Admission Day,” commented Ashley Robinson, Recruitment Coordinator. “We have streamlined the admissions process to serve as a one-stop shop day for prospective college students,” added Robison.
Instant Admission Days will be held on the following dates and times:
- Tuesdays: July 16, July 23, August 6 and August 13, from 1:00pm – 5:30pm
- Saturdays: July 13, July 27, August 10 and August 17, from 10am – 1:30pm
All sessions will be held on both the Decatur Campus, 6250 Hwy. 31 North in the Chasteen Student Services Center; and on the Huntsville campus, 102 Wynn Dr. NW in the Grand Foyer of building #1.
In order to complete the admissions and financial aid processes, students must bring a current government issued photo ID and 2017 tax forms.
