Calhoun Community College’s Career Services Department to Host Annual Spring Job Fair April 5
March 28, 2018Calhoun Community College’s Career Services department will host a job fair for current students, recent college graduates and the public on Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. in the Aerospace Training Center on the Decatur campus.
Representatives from over 40 government, for profit and non-profit organizations have registered to attend, and will be seeking to fill full and part-time employment vacancies. Registered organizations represent a wide range of fields, and employers include 3M, Buffalo Rock, Davidson Technologies, Inc., Federal-Mogul Powertrain, H&R Block, Huntsville Career Center, Intech America-Turner Medical, Limitless Marketing Group, Inc., Madison County Commission, Madison Police Department, Mr. Electric, Paul Mitchell the School – Huntsville, Polaris Industries, PRM Structural Engineers, Redstone Federal Credit Union, Tyonek Manufacturing Group, Inc., U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Verizon and WAFF.
This is one of the largest job fairs in North Alabama, and job seekers planning to attend the job fair should prepare by having an updated version of their resume, researching the organizations ahead of time, and developing a short elevator speech in order to introduce themselves to prospective employers, as some participants will conduct onsite interviews.
