Calhoun Gets Students Ready for College at Spring 2020 Preview NightJanuary 17, 2020
The Calhoun Community College Advising and Technologies team is collaborating to present Spring 2020 Preview Night. This event will be held in two sessions. The first session will take place on Tuesday, January 21 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Foyer, Sparkman building, on the Huntsville campus. The second session is on Thursday, January 23 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Aerospace Training Center on the Decatur campus. This event is free to the public, but registration is required.
This annual event was designed to provide beneficial information to prospective students on our various programs of study, ‘Ways to Pay for College’ workshop, Technology and Health information sessions and an opportunity to meet faculty and staff of the college. “This is the perfect opportunity for students and parents to see first-hand what Calhoun truly has to offer,” commented Dr. Pat Wilson, Calhoun Vice President of Student Services. “So many times in this profession we hear people say, ‘I didn’t know Calhoun had that’ or they don’t realize we have over 50+ degree and certificate program options. This is the event where you will learn about those programs and have dinner on us,” added Wilson.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn more about student life on both the Huntsville and Decatur campuses, as well as meet students and sponsors involved in various clubs and organizations.
Registration is highly encouraged as refreshments will be served. To register, please visit www.calhoun.edu/PreviewNight. If you have any questions, contact Ashley Robison at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 256-306-2634.
