Calhoun Teams Up With Sonoco to Host Virtual Career Chat
March 4, 2021The Calhoun Community College Career Services Team has collaborated with Sonoco Reels & Plugs to host a virtual career on Wednesday, March 10, at 6:00 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. This event is free and open to the public.
Sonoco is a $5.4 billion global provider of consumer packaging, industrial products as well as supply chain packaging services. Over the past 5 years, the Reels & Plugs Division of Sonoco Products Company has placed special emphasis on developing its technical team and ramping up its Automation Strategy. They are currently in the process of completing a new Automation and Training Center at their Hartselle location, as their current Automation Teams capability has outgrown the building in which they currently occupy.
