Felicia Gill is a native of historic Selma, Alabama. Felicia is the mother of one son, Lawrence, and grandmother of one grandson. She has over 10 years of experience in higher education in Academic Advising and in Student Services at an HBCU that was located in Selma, Alabama where 80% of its student population was athletes. The closing of this Institution is what brought Felicia to North Alabama. Other employment consists of serving as the HIV/AIDS Education and Community Outreach Specialist in Public Health area VII, known by the State Department of Public Health as the Blackbelt. Relocating to North Alabama and becoming a part of the Calhoun Community College family has presented a fresh outlook on expanding past experiences in providing people with information to make informed decisions concerning their lives and careers.
