Black History Program: Dr. Rolundus Rice
The college will have the exceptional privilege in welcoming Dr. Rolundus Rice to be a speaker on Monday, February 28 at 11:00 AM on the Decatur Campus in the ATC Lecture Hall. He holds a Ph. D. in History from Auburn University. He is the first recipient in Auburn’s history to go from receiving a GED to Ph. D. Dr. Rice has a wonderful story that I believe will be encouraging to our students and community. He also wrote a great book on the life of one of our greatest unsung Civil Rights leaders, the Rev. Hosea Williams.
