Calhoun Community College identifies expected outcomes, assesses the extent to which it achieves these outcomes, and provides evidence of improvement based on analysis of institutional effectiveness. In addition to common departmental components for assessment, the College uses three nationally-recognized instruments to assess student learning outcomes: CAAP (Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency), CCSSE (The Community College Survey of Student Engagement), and SENSE (Survey of Entering Student Engagement).
