How to View My Account in MyCalhoun

Calhoun allows students to access their MyCalhoun Experience portal 24 hours a day. Use this portal to view your account balance, account activity by term, generate your account statement, make payments, or set up a payment plan.

When you register for classes, a student account associated with your student ID number is charged for tuition, fees, etc.  To access your account, go to www.calhoun.edu and select Login to MyCalhoun to log into your MyCalhoun Experience portal. In MyCalhoun Experience, locate the Student Services Quick Links card, then select the following:

  • Pay Tuition & Fees
  • Complete MFA authentication
  • View Activity
  • Select appropriate Term

On-Demand Statements

After reviewing your balance, there are many other features on this page that you can utilize such as generating and printing an on-demand statement for any registered term.  This statement will include your schedule of classes, total charges and payments, term balance, and overall account balance.  The Term Balance will always reflect the net of the charges and payments for the selected term; however, the Amount Due will not populate until the effective date of the charges.

Authorizing a Parent, Legal Guardian, or Other to Access Your Records

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) protects the privacy of student education records.  Under FERPA, the college cannot discuss confidential information related to financial records with anyone other than the student without explicit permission from the student.

The Authorization to Release Information Form (FERPA) electronic form may be completed which serves as student consent for records to be released to a parent, legal guardian, other tuition providers, or other indicated individuals.  Once the form has been submitted, the individual will be assigned a PIN which will be used to verify the caller or emailer’s identity before releasing a student’s information to that individual.

From the ‘Pay Tuition & Fees” link in the MyCalhoun Experience portal, students can also create parent(s) as authorized users using their email address which will provide parents with their own login to be able to pay on your behalf or print your 1098T Tuition form for tax return purposes.  However, third party companies providing scholarships should not be set up as authorized users because they must go through a separate process on their own account.

Students can also create themselves as authorized users using their personal email so they continue to have access to their payment history and tax forms upon leaving Calhoun.

Payment Deadlines

Please refer to Class Schedules & Semester Information for tuition payment deadlines.

After the payment deadline, schedules can be deleted for nonpayment of tuition and fees. Students may not attend class if tuition or fees are unpaid. A financial hold will be placed on the student’s account when there is any past due financial obligation to the college. When there is a financial hold, the student will not be permitted to register for classes, receive transcripts, nor any other service from the college.

Payment Options

Students have several payment options for outstanding balances on their student account in their MyCalhoun Experience portal.
