Customized Company-Specific CDL Training and Testing
A forty hour, company-specific CDL training program is available for employees holding a learner’s permit, seeking to obtain a Class A or Class B license for local driving. Contact our office at 256-306-2928 to request the forty-hour training/testing.
Requirements
Students entering the 40 Hour CDL Truck Driving Program must:
- Be employed by the company requesting the training/testing
- Have a valid CDL learner’s permit issued 14 days prior to the start of class
- Successfully pass a chain of custody drug screen and provide results to the college
- Obtain a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Pass a DOT Physical and obtain a Medical Card (if applicable, based on the company)
Note: The DOT physical, drug screen and motor vehicle report (MVR) must be dated within 30 days of the first scheduled class day. In the event the employee has completed a DOT physical and received a medical card previously, please make sure that the expiration date is valid.
