Are you a licensed Registered Nursing with professional experience in an Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, or Air or Ground Medical Transport setting? Are you seeking to expand your scope of practice by obtaining national certification and Alabama licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)?
Calhoun Community College’s RN to EMT Bridge Program offers a streamlined pathway for experienced RNs to transition into the field of prehospital care. This hybrid program includes online didactic instruction and a required 16-hour hands-on lab component held on the Huntsville Research Park campus and 2 Ambulance Clinicals (12 hours each for total of 24 hours).
