What is a Certified Supplier Quality Professional?

The Certified Supplier Quality Professional works with an organization’s supply chain and suppliers to continuously improve performance of key system components (increase lifecycle, reduce scrap, improve repair processes) by implementing process controls and developing quality assurance plans. The certified supplier quality professional tracks data, identifies improvement projects, and manages cross functional implementation to improve performance of key components and suppliers.

Course Description

This course may be customized to fit an employer’s specific needs. During this course you will learn:
  • Enhanced supplier strategy including life-cycle management, supply chain cost analysis, agreements, and contracts.
  • Strong risk management techniques through analysis and preventive strategies, and mitigation control.
  • Improved supplier selection and part qualification processes through design reviews and part, process, and service qualification.
  • Supplier performance monitoring and improvement with supplier metrics and CAPA.
  • Supplier quality management through quality auditing, project management, and performance evaluations.
  • Relationship management techniques including supplier onboarding, communication, leadership, and collaboration.
  • Business governance, ethics, and compliance in the areas of confidentiality, intellectual property, and compliance laws.

Refund Policy

A full refund may be obtained by placing a written request to the Calhoun Community College Workforce Solutions, Department Project Manager, no later than 14 days prior to the program start date. No refund is available after 14 days prior to the program start date. If the refund deadline has passed, you may transfer into the next open scheduled class. Only one class transfer is allowed, no refund is available.
