AERO

Alabama Emergency Medical Services – Region 1 (AERO) was established in 2006 to provide EMS support for eleven counties of North Alabama through an Alabama Department of Public Health, Office of EMS grant. Education and Pre-hospital Healthcare System oversite are two of AERO’s primary support functions. This partnership with Calhoun serves Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan Counties.
