Meet Our Team
Program Director: Jordan NeSmith, MS, NRP
Jordan NeSmith joined Calhoun Community College on January 2, 2025, as the new Alabama Emergency Medical Services Region One Director (AERO Director).
Jordan holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Healthcare Management and Administration from Athens State University. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Behavioral Science from, University of Tennessee Southern – formerly Martin Methodist college.
Jordan holds teaching credentials in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
Additionally, Jordan holds leadership experience beyond patient care, as evidenced by participation in safety committees, disaster response teams, and strategic planning initiatives.
In her experience, Jordan’s industry skills in emergency medical service come from her nearly 14-years of service as both a paramedic and in healthcare communication specialist. Her industry experience allowed her to develop skills focused on multi-disciplinary teams, professional judgment, and informed decision-making.
Jordan maintains direct community relationships through her continued commitment to contributing to the success and growth of our local Volunteer Fire Departments with community-based initiatives as a paramedic, firefighter, and former board member.
