2026 Registration Dates

Summer Semester

  • March 09, 2026 – Registration opens for students with 45+ semester hours at 8:00 AM

  • March 11, 2026 – Registration opens for students with 30+ semester hours at 8:00 AM

  • March 13, 2026 – Registration opens for students with 15+ semester hours at 8:00 AM

  • March 16, 2026 – Registration opens for all students at 8:00 AM

  • Summer classes start Tuesday, May 26, 2026

Step-by-Step Guidance for a Smooth Registration Process

*Note:

  • In Class Description, under Days, “R” stands for Thursday, “S” for Saturday and “U” for Sunday.
  • A “W” section number indicates course is ONLINE.
  • An “H” section number is a HYBRID course.
  • Under “CMP” in class description, “HSV” is Huntsville Campus, “DEC” is Decatur, “DL” is Distance Learning.
  • “ACA” is the Alabama Center for the Arts.
  • “TBA” means “To Be Announced”. “TBA” for class days/times indicates an online class.

Register for Classes on myCalhoun

myCalhoun Experience is the one-stop student portal for all the resources you need. Login to access your new student dashboard featuring access to Canvas, Outlook Student Email, and your student account. Be sure to log in using your A#@alabama.edu credentials.
