What advice would you give to a student interested in Cooperative Learning?
The advice I would give to a student interested in this program, is that they should go for it! It will only help you and push you to be the best that you can be! It will also help you find out your best interest when it comes to working in your field of study.

In your opinion, what was the most beneficial part of being a Co-Op student?
The most beneficial part of being a co-op student is learning how to value good opportunities. The team behind the co-op program work hard to see us succeed. All we have to do is put our best foot forward and go after it!

How has your co-op prepared you for a career in your field?
The co-op program has given me a good understanding of how things operate in my field and what I should expect and learn about to succeed.

In your opinion, what was the most beneficial part of being a co-op student?
The ability to have, not only a job that works with a school schedule, but a job that also gives you a taste of the field that you’re working towards is incredibly beneficial.

What advice would you give to a student interested in cooperative learning?
It is an excellent opportunity for someone going through college. I am motivated to apply what was learned in class to daily work.

I choose the co-op program to gain experience in my field of study while the company works around my school schedule to ensure that I complete my degree.

How has your co-op prepared you for a career in your field?
The program is actually better than I expected. The company I work for makes sure I gain lots of hands-on experience.

In your opinion, what was the most beneficial part of being a Co-Op student?
The most beneficial part of the co-op to me is getting in the doors to work for great companies.

Why did you choose to apply to the co-op program?
Cooperative Education offers you the chance to actually work in the field you are entering and get a “foot in the door” with potential employers while obtaining credits towards your education.

How has your co-op prepared you for a career in your field?
It is in the process of preparing. I have obtained a job in a related position and am getting the chance to learn a whole new career field. The training is priceless.

What advice would you give to a student interested in cooperative learning?
As I mentioned, the program offers you the chance to actually work in your field of study. Getting hands on training in your career path is a priceless commodity.

Why did you choose to apply to the Co-Op Program?
I chose to apply for the co-op program for a few reasons. The first reason and the most important to me, to gain experience in my field of study under people that work daily in industry. The second reason was to make more money so I can keep furthering my education. The third and final reason, to heighten my chances of landing a better job after I graduate.

How has your co-op prepared you for a career in your field?
In the short time that I have been at my coop I have already picked up many skills I did not posses before that I will continually use throughout my career.

What advice would you give to a student interested in cooperative learning?
I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to advance their career and gain experience before getting a degree. Experience is invaluable in any field, so why not help yourself and gain some more?

I wanted to gain insightful experience towards the technical fields of aerospace technology and engineering.

How has your co-op prepared you for a career in your field?
Through Dynetics’s internship program, and through several mentors, I was able to learn about various processes and skills that will allow me to be more efficient and effective towards my end goal.

What advice would you give to a student interested in cooperative learning?
Take the leap and learn as much as you possibly can. A Co-Op/intern experience is going to get your foot into the door of your career.

How has your co-op prepared you for a career in your field?
The co-op program helped me develop a professional résumé with a solid work history. That allows me the opportunity to have a hands-on experience in my field of study.

In your opinion, what was the most beneficial part of being a co-op student?
Being a part of this co-op allows me to explore and develop a career interest with an establishment that really cares about their employees as well as the community in which it serves on a daily basis. It is a pleasure as well as a blessing to participate in this co-op program.

What advice would you give to a student interested in cooperative learning?
If the opportunity arises, apply yourself to reach out to it because you will be well supported by a team of career specialists who care and they will help guide you. Expand your network and make valuable connections that are needed for the workforce after graduation.

How has your co-op prepared you for a career in your field?
My co-op has provided me with many different tools for any career I could ever want. Working at the USSRC, I have learned how to communicate with people, how to present information in an engaging way, and many different leadership skills.

In your opinion, what was the most beneficial part of being a co-op student?
I think the biggest benefit from co-op would be learning the life skills you need to have a successful career in your field of work. Not only do you learn these skills, but you have the opportunity for real life application of these skills.

What advice would you give to a student interested in cooperative learning?
I would tell them to learn as much as they can from the position they are in. You can learn so much from your supervisors, managers, and coworkers. It is truly an amazing experience.
