The Advanced Automotive Technology (AAT) program

The Advanced Automotive Technology (AAT) program at CCC is a comprehensive four-semester program that prepares students for employment as automotive technicians. Students completing the program may earn an Associate in Applied Science degree upon program completion. As well as four Short term certificates. This program will teach you how to diagnose, repair and maintain the parts and systems of the modern automobile. Your training will include working on vehicles in modern service bays in a brand new state of the art facility, using the most up-to-date diagnostic and repair tools and equipment available.

What’s the employment outlook?

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, automotive service technicians and mechanics are “top” rated, with a mean annual wage of 20.24 per hour or $39,820 to $45,710 per year increasing to $68,880 for specialist certifications and technicians

Advanced Automotive Technology Mission

The Automotive Technology program’s mission is to serve the community as a learning-centered, open door program that provides technical training to meet the demands of the automotive industry and the needs of the individual. An open-exit option allows the students to identify their career objectives and participate in program exploration.
