Basic Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Design & Installation

This course covers entry-level concepts associated with theory of electricity generated from the sun with. The course content covers principles and design of photovoltaic (PV) systems (solar panels). Upon successful completion of the course, students will have demonstrated a basic understanding of PV markets and applications, safety basics, electrical and mechanical design, performance analysis, and PV maintenance and troubleshooting. This course is designed to prepare the student to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP PV) entry-level exam. Those participants who successfully complete the training will be eligible to take the exam which will be proctored by an NABCEP-approved proctor. (This course requires 12 participants to be held)

Equipment and simulators as well as expendable materials and supplies are included. Each participant will receive learning materials that can be used as future references after program completion. The course fee includes daily refreshments and catered lunch.
