Calhoun Community College identifies expected outcomes, assesses the extent to which it achieves these outcomes, and provides evidence of improvement based on analysis of institutional effectiveness. In addition to general education and program learning outcomes assessed within academic programs, the College uses the ETS Proficiency Profile, a nationally-recognized instrument, to assess Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Critical Thinking. The Noel Levitz Student Satisfaction Survey is also used to measure student satisfaction and identify areas where improvements are needed.
