The Calhoun Community College Adult Education Department is currently accepting applications for its new online GED program. According to Mindi Russell, Calhoun’s Acting Director of Adult Education, GED classes are held year-round and students can enroll at any time. Students have a broad range of scheduling options with classes available at more than 25 sites in surrounding communities. Calhoun launches new Online Medical Billing Program for Fall 2020

Decatur, AL – According to information released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment prospects in the medical billing industry are projected to grow by at least 22 percent over the next few years. To answer this demand, Calhoun Community College is introducing a new fully online Medical Billing certificate program that begins fall 2020. MONTGOMERY – On Thursday, the Alabama Community College System (ACCS) launched an online resource for displaced Virginia College students.  Last week, the Education Corporation of America announced that all Virginia College campuses would close, including four in Alabama.
